I Thank faves by going through your Gallery

Journal Entry: Fri Nov 20, 2009, 3:18 AM
So, lately I've been having a whole bunch of time to browse dA more often, which obviously means I'm making more comments and adding more favourites but there's a downside to this and it's the fact that people keep coming to my page and saying "thanks for the fave", don't get me wrong I appreciate the gesture, but let's be honest that comment it's a little bit redundant. I know everyone it's grateful for getting a fave, even deviantArt itselfs says "Thanks!" automatically each time you click on that Add to favourites link.
Basically what I'm trying to get through it's that maybe, just maybe, before leaving a "thanks for the fave" comment you should stop and think: What would it be a better way of showing my gratitude? to me that better way it's to simply browse to the deviants gallery, sometimes they wont even notice I did because I wont add any faves or comments if I don't feel like it, but I know I did, and it feels better than just copy/pasting a comment. I'm not saying you should do the same as me, I'm just saying think of better ways to say "thank you" besides simply saying "thank you".

Personally, I regard "thanks for the fave" comments as spam, sometimes I reply, sometimes I just hide them. but that's just my personal opinion.

Anyway, feel free to express your opinion about this type of comment, even if it's different from mine.

Edit: I just found an interesting read on this very same subject, this journal by `electricjonny : [link]

:iconfarewell-spring:
I'm really sorry for the misunderstanding, but I believe I clicked on the 'request print' button by error because I can't buy prints from dA to my country. Sorry
